Rabbit polyclonal antibody against native rat collagen type I, affinity-purified on immobilised collagen I and cross-adsorbed against rat collagen III for type specificity; it also recognises heat-denatured collagen I at about half the native reactivity. For sandwich ELISA, immunohistochemistry on frozen rat tissue and ECM staining in rat cell culture, e.g. in fibrosis and wound-healing models; the rat collagen III antibody is 864.
