Rabbit anti-porcine collagen type I/III polyclonal antibody, affinity-purified, 1 ml
Rabbit polyclonal raised against pepsin-solubilised porcine collagen type I and III (our cat. 223) and affinity-purified on the same antigen. It recognises native pig fibrillar collagens I and III in frozen tissue sections and ELISA without reacting with porcine collagen IV or V, which makes it the antibody of choice for porcine wound-healing, cardiovascular and xenograft models and for checking collagen content of pig-derived biomaterials and decellularised scaffolds. Lyophilised, reconstitute with 1 ml water.
Specificity
Binds pig collagen type I and III (#223). No cross-reactivity against pig collagen types IV and V
