Human collagen type II, native, pepsin-solubilised from cartilage, 0.1 mg
Native human collagen type II (COL2A1), the principal collagen of hyaline cartilage, purified from virus-screened human cartilage by pepsin digestion and differential salt precipitation to above 95 % type II. Lyophilised, 0.1 mg (100 µg); dissolves in 0.5 M acetic acid. Used as an immunoassay standard, immunogen (1), coating substrate for chondrocyte culture and antigen in arthritis research; the 1 mg pack is 882 and the matching goat antibody is 415.
Source
Human cartilage. Negative for HBsAg, HCV, HIV1 and HIV2
