Rabbit anti-human collagen type I polyclonal antibody (COL1A1/COL1A2), cross-adsorbed, 1 ml
Polyclonal rabbit antibody raised against native human collagen type I and cross-adsorbed on immobilised collagens II, III, IV and V, so it stains type I collagen in human tissue without reacting with the other fibrillar and basement-membrane collagens. Lyophilised, reconstitute with 1 ml of water for use in ELISA and in immunohistochemistry on frozen sections (1:10-1:20) — for fibrosis, wound-healing, bone and tissue-engineering studies where the collagen type I content of a human sample or construct must be shown specifically.
Specificity
Specific against human Collagen type I. No reactivity to human Collagen types II, III, IV, V or other human plasma proteins.
Preparation
Precipitation by sodium sulphate, anion-exchange chromatography (DEAE-cellulose) and cross-absorption with immobilized Collagen types II, III, IV, V and other human plasma proteins.
