Rabbit anti-human collagen type I/III polyclonal antibody (COL1A1, COL3A1), affinity-purified, 50 µg
Rabbit polyclonal that recognises the two main fibrillar collagens of human connective tissue, type I and type III, with less than 3% cross-reactivity to collagen IV and V after cross-adsorption on human collagens II, IV and V and plasma proteins. It is the antibody to use for staining and quantifying the collagen that fibroblasts, MSCs and engineered tissues deposit: immunostaining of ECM in human cell cultures, IHC on frozen sections (~1:30) and ELISA (~1:4000). Lyophilised 50 µg; reconstitute with 0.5 ml water.
Specificity
Binds human collagen type I and III. Cross-reactivity to other human collagens as measured by ELISA type IV below 3%, type V below 2%
